What does the work consist of?The Camp Boss is responsible for all hotel services on the rig and leads the catering crew. He/she is responsible for the safety, work schedules, job content and work allocation of catering personnel, and for maintaining the food stocks.
What do I need to know to hold the position?
Certified cook with a minimum of four years experience
Minimum one year experience as a Chief Steward on seagoing ships or a similar position in the offshore industry
Proficiency in all aspects of cooking, food hygiene, stock rotation, and nutritional aspects of menu planning
How do I get there?
This position is not often a drilling company position, but is covered by an external catering company.
